Our Mission

God has called us to engage this culture with the good news of the kingdom and invite them to become a part of a community that is radically committed to following Jesus. However, we are once again approaching capacity in our present facility. Over the next few years we can continue to grow by maximizing our current space. After that, we will need to build Phase 2 of our building. This will increase our building capacity by over 50% and make room for others to hear the good news of the kingdom.

We believe that God is calling us to take the next few years to prepare ourselves spiritually and financially for this expansion. The Greater Things Initiative is a critical part of that preparation process. The goal of Greater Things is to raise $6.5 million, over and above our regular ministry budget, in order to accomplish three very important things:

Decrease Our Indebtedness

The current mortgage on our building is $6.5 million. Our goal over the next few years is to pay down the principle on our mortgage by at least $4 million, saving over $7 million in interest over the life of the loan.

Launch the Hope Partnership

A tithe (10%) of the funds raised will be used to launch the Hope Partnership. We are partnering with four organizations to confront the issue of HIV/AIDS and the plight of orphans and widows in the countries of Zambia, Malawi and Kenya. Our goal is not only to work for justice and show mercy, but to raise up an emerging generation of pastors who are willing to address these kingdom issues.

Expand Children’s Ministry Space

We have an immediate need for additional space for our children’s environments that take place each weekend in our building. A portion of the money raised will be used to reconfigure our present facility to provide this space.
